The plugin allows both larger accounts and power users to export their Google Analytics data through the Google Analytics API and work with that analytics data using the more advanced features of Microsoft Excel. Google Analytics can produce hundreds of reports with upto 7,000,000 combinations of data points so sometimes the web interface is not sufficient and this is where excel can be used.
